About Us
Matt Dix (CEO and Founder)
Matt has been a KS2 teacher for 15 years in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County, working in a range of year groups and lead roles, with curriculum responsibilities including music, computing and English. In a previous life, Matt was also a bass player in the early 2000s indie band Love Ends Disaster! and has also made maths, science and English songs and content for children in Key Stage 2 as the Founder of Manic Street Teachers.

DM Crosby (Chief Content Officer)
DM has been a teacher, deputy headteacher and a headteacher in Nottingham City for over 12 years. He is currently headteacher at Edale Primary School in Nottingham City. He provides CPD and training linked to English for Transform Trust and has created a range of reading and writing resources, schemes and policies taken up by many schools across the 21 schools within the Trust.
Advisors and Experts
We consult regularly with a range of teachers and experts to ensure our resources link to the national curriculum, and meet the needs of our teachers and children by trialling content. Teachers and experts include: Paul Charly (Headteacher at Retford Primary School), Chris Dyson (Assistant CEO at Create Trust) Kelly Newton (Year 2 Teacher at South Wilford Primary School) and a range of English Coordinators. We are keen to adapt and improve the site/resources so please contact us with further suggestions.
